05 / BMS AND BUILDING AUTOMATION

Intelligent control.
Clear building management.

We connect control and operation through Siemens- and Beckhoff-based building automation. BMS interfaces bring equipment status, measured values and operator settings together in one place.

01 / THE TASK

Developing building control and supervisory functions

For new building automation tasks and upgrades to existing supervisory systems, we review the information and control actions operators need. We define the implementation based on the on-site systems and available connections.

01

Automation functions

Developing control logic and operating modes in Siemens or Beckhoff environments to the agreed functional specification.

02

Supervisory interfaces

Presenting required status information, measured values and operator settings clearly.

03

Signals and interfaces

Implementing equipment feedback and interaction with connected systems using the available interfaces.

02 / WORKING TOGETHER

From requirements
to implementation.

  1. 01

    Site review

Understanding the building systems, existing controls and operational needs.

  2. 02

    Functions

Agreeing operating modes, data to be displayed and operator access requirements.

  3. 03

    Development

Implementing control functions and supervisory interfaces.

  4. 04

    Verification

On-site testing of signals, operator actions and interfaces.

  5. 05

    Handover

Handing over project files and the agreed functional documentation.

03 / HANDOVER

Clear results.
Documented solutions.

We define the exact handover scope at the start of the project, tailored to the task.

We hand over the control and supervisory project files and descriptions of the implemented operating modes, settings and equipment interfaces. We document the measured values, status information and fault signals shown in the supervisory system, together with operating guidance and the results of the agreed checks.

Operators can then follow automatic operation, interpret signals and understand the effect of settings. The project files and functional description also support troubleshooting, restoring the control system and future extensions to the building management system.

04 / INITIAL DISCUSSION

Let’s start with
the technical details.

  1. A description of the building’s technical systems and existing supervisory system
  2. Details of controllers, equipment and available data connections
  3. Operational needs, required changes and schedule

05 / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms do you use for building automation?

We develop systems based on Siemens and Beckhoff controllers. We agree on the specific controllers, software versions and supervisory environment for each project.

Can an existing BMS be upgraded?

After reviewing the existing project, access permissions and available interfaces, we determine which changes can be implemented.

What data can the supervisory system display?

Status information and measured values made available by the connected systems. We agree on the data, signals and operator actions to be displayed with the operator.

What do you need for an initial discussion?

A short description of the building and its technical systems, details of the existing control system and the required operation. Existing documentation, where available, also helps with the review.
